Rights and conditions for moving to a residential care home

Accommodation for the elderly is a service which, depending on the established needs and the choice of the beneficiary, encompass housing, food, care, maintaining health, social work, psychosocial rehabilitation, physical therapy, active leisure time.
 
Accommodation services is provided by a social care home, an association and another person
Registered to provide the accommodation service and has fulfilled the prescribed conditions.
 
Accommodation can be recognize by a decision of the social welfare center or the user can contract it with the social service provider of accommodation.
 
Accommodation recognized by social welfare center can be granted as temporary or long-term.  Temporary accommodation may be temporary accommodation in crises, temporary accommodation for short rehabilitation programmers and temporary accommodation in other cases.
 
Long-term accommodation can be granted by a decision of the social welfare center to a functionally dependent elderly person, and a seriously ill person in need of continuous assistance and care of another person, due to permanent changes in his health.
