Aladrovic: Employee benefits for employers affected by epidemic

ZAGREB, March 19 (Hina) - Labour and Pension System Minister Josip Aladrovic said on Thursday that all employers who present proof of being affected by the coronavirus epidemic would be eligible for employee benefits, as well as all whose businesses had to be closed.

All those whose work has been affected by the ban or suspension of work will be entitled to the employee benefit as we hope to preserve jobs, Aladrovic told reporters ahead of a government session, to be held in the building of the National and University Library in Zagreb (NSK).

Aladrovic underscores that measures for mitigating the coronavirus's impact on the economy are just the beginning, and that as the situations changes, they will be adjusted to help workers and employers.
